Job Title: Sr. Software Developer

Job Duties:

Marvelous Technologies Inc., in Gurnee, IL is seeking Sr. Software Developers. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical and practical subject matter knowledge and experience to design and develop Oracle-based applications to deliver IT services and solutions that meet business requirements.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

1. Design and build relational and non-relational NoSQL and Analytics database solutions and technologies.
2. Create and improve processes for existing and new databases to implement secure data-based applications and evaluations for added security.
3. Implement automation processes and technology improvements to enhance performance, availability and capacity of database systems.
4. Test and implement new technologies and application features to provide continued and enhanced data management.
5. Develop data standards to ensure and safeguard data integrity and reliability.
6. Install, upgrade and configure database software and configure and monitor database replications.
7. Set up and maintain database backups; triage and troubleshoot complex database alerts and issues; and identify root cause of issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Perform bug verification and release testing and develop data visualization dashboards and analytics reports for audits, Network scans, logs, active directory system, KPI reporting and Business Intelligence.
9. Optimize performance of data mining and process, analyze and interpret data from large databases or warehouses.

Minimum Requirements:

The normal requirements for the offered position are as follows:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or any related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience and knowledge with the following:

1. SQL Server, MySQL, Informix, Oracle, PostgreSQL
2. Windows Server, Linux, VMWare
3. T-SQL, HL7, DAX, Python, PowerShell, VB.Net, XML, RDL
4. L/MAMP Architecture, CMS
5. Power BI, Microsoft BI Stack/VS Data Tools, Tableau
6. PowerApps Development on Azure, SaaS, IaaS.

• No travel; no telecommuting. Position is project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term period.
